Need help with identification on possible pest attached to
Snail shell. Dosent seem to effect snail. Is small looks almost flat, has a tiny mouth that comes out along with 2 antenna, are black in color. Have observed it's behavior for about an hr or so seems like when snail passes close to objects it reaches out with it mouth to grab passing food I assume.

It's hard to tell. It could be a flat worm. They can get out of hand, but usually they're kept down by fish predation.

So should I pick it off? It's the only one I've ever seen on anything, didn't know if I should just nip it now or if it's possibly a baby snail? New to saltwater inverts.
