Glass Cages Acrylic

So I'm thinking of a glasscages acrylic 48x24x12 tank. I have a glass cube tank from them 24x24x24 and couldn't be happier. Its built like a freakin TANK , and has been great for 2 years now.

Does anyone have pictures or own one of their acrylic tanks?

Thanks.

I would not reccomend acrylic tanks from GC based on one experince.
I ordered a 240 glass tank from them 2-1/2 years ago and they delivered it along with a couple acrylic tanks for some one in my area.
Those acrylic tanks looked like crap. Glue outside of the seam area, rough edges, and the top was glued on at a angle.
I really felt bad for the guy that paid money for the tanks.

The glass tank I bought was great. Like you said built like a tank.

The more research I do the more I'm swaying to another glass tank from them. I just hate to drive so far to pick it up. The next time they r within 2 hours of me is in a few months.. which.. i guess isn't too long to build tanks, get equipment in and so forth..

I've TOTALLY changed directions today for some reason haha. Now I'm leaning toward a glass tank that is 48X24X24.. I think its close to 120g or something. I'm also leaning toward a starfire front, if not sides too. They are making rimless tanks now.. which I think really adds a nice clean modern look to a tank.

did you have a starfire tank? if so.. do you like it? is there really a noticeable difference between that and regular glasS?

I did get the starfire glass on 3 sides. I only wanted it on 2 sides but they did 3 for the price of 2.
I really think it is worth the extra money.
