ETSS REEF DEVIL/ External Plumbing

Hi All,
Hey it Friday!!!
Anyway, still planning my sump at the moment and thought I'd check before I get to far that my fellow reefers are able to run ETSS Reef Devils externally from the sump, with success.

As always ANY feedback is always very much appreciated.
In fact pictures would be a great help.
