Okay... I have to share this with you guys:

I didn't pay big bucks for those corals- I found them sitting in LFS's. If you keep a keen eye and know what to look for there are amazing corals out there and you don't have to pay hundreds of dollars for them.

hah i was waiting for you to post something, gary. and i totally agree.. in some LFS you find some hidden gems that arent expensive. however the next coral i will get is going to be a blue green and orange scoly that i have been eyeing. my tax refund cant come soon enough.

ps, sick stuff on this thread, anyone have anything else? something unique maybe? doesnt have to be super colorful but something unique, like gary's freakish hammer .

Yes it was that's why it is not very sharp. My canopy and lights get in the way.

I agree! That Fungia is one cool LPS.. Best I've seen here, so far.
Gary: Yeah, I've hit a few bargains before at small LFS where the clerks weren't really sure what they had.

that is def one awesome piece of plate coral. anyone have any cool blue pieces? it seems like a rare color so im curious to see all those blue lps out there.. softies also accepted
