Low PH

My PH is running around 7.7 all my other readings are ok. And Calcium is 460 and Alk is 11. I also took some water put it into a cup and aerated it for an hour and it did raise the PH to about 7.9. What should I do?

try this in the water chemistry forum. i bet many of them dont browse this area.

I've been running my tank for @ 7 months. My PH has always been 7.8 and my tank is thriving. I tried using PH up--but found that it wasn't needed.
