Raising KH? - Please help

Is it correct that one can use regular Baking Soda dissolved into water to raise Alkalinity of the water? I ran a suite of tests on the water today and things look good except for KH. The KH test came back at around 110 or 120 which I think correlates to a dKH of around 6 which from what I've ready is low.

We've been experiencing a number of fish going missing or finding dead (about 3 over the last week). The fish have been behaving and eating normally but overnight have been dying.

Is it accurate that I can add 1.25 tsp of baking soda dissolved per day to raise the Alkalinity? I don't want to go adding something to the tank and risk killing more fish.

Thank you in advance!

Low alk wouldn't kill fish. It's good to get the alk in line, but I would also look for what's killing the fish.
