Someone should really edit this sticky post to get rid of the invalid links

Anyone have an updated list as to sites or people that sell macros and seagrasses? Most of the sites on the first post dont work anymore.

Firefighting: How hard can it be? You just put the wet stuff on the red stuff right?

Current Tank Info: 180g mixed reef, 70g sump, 2 30g frag tanks, 30g macro algae tank. 300g total system.

To quote Gates:

But note, it's winter in Florida and much of the macro algae is beginning (or already has) died off. Spring and Summer are the best order times.

I did just order from them and got a monster pile of C. prolifera and a bunch of pods.

Current Tank Info: 300 gallon stony reef, 300 gallon softie tank, 120 gallon FW/Orchid tank

Might want to research online for reviews for aquacon before ordering. They are notorious.

Here is a regrouping of the live sites from the two threads. Sites listed in the order I bookmarked them. I have not ordered from most of these but if a website came up where it looked like I could I added it.

Live Sites to order macro algae from on July,17,2012:

Reef Cleaners

Gulf Coast Ecosystems

LA Reefs

Inland Aquatics

Indo Pacific Sea Farms

Florida Pets

Florida Aqua Farms

I just ordered from and was very pleased when my Caulerpa and Red Sampler Packs came in yesterday. The bags were generously packed with 5-6 different types of algae per bag.

Great link the LP is. Wish I had known about that when I was search the world for live ulva... was even calling natural food markets.

The USPS does not deliver emails, so why bring up the post office? I have had great delivery from the post office of live fish and aquarium products. It is usually individual experiences and local idiosyncrasy that color our opinion about any delivery service. I remember the FedEx guy leaving a box of fish perched on a snow drift in the middle of our front yard, but that does not mean all FedEx guys are like that.
