3155 pump issue
Purchased a new pump from BRS. Started the first week working fine, now it acts like it has no power. The pump will come on but no water comes out. I checked the line for and kinks or blockage but couldn’t find any. I put my mouth in the line and blew through it without a problem. The reservoir is sitting at the same night as the sump, if I pick the reservoir up and hold it higher than the sump it will start pumping water, but then if I put it back down it will stop. Did BRS send me a bad pump?? The pump has only been running on the tank for maybe a week before problems started. I’m not running kalk just plain RO water.
Can’t figure out what is wrong?? |

The only way to prime a pump is to tip it upside down while it is under water, if it has air trapped in it, this is the right way to get it started, blowing through it actually will usually make things worse, try just tipping it upside down while submerged, if that does not solve it, let me know I will get you out a replacement.

Thanks Roger,
Another question, Is there a way to adjust the power of the pump in the 3155 controller or does it only control the time the pump stays on?? |

On any controller made after 2012, inside the controller is a red knob that is the pump speed setting.
