Lots and Lots of questions....

So I know I ask lots of questions but thats the only way to learn right? So......my corals. I have multiple colonies of Zoas, 2 colonies of button Polyps, a Toadstool leather, a blastomussa, 2 head frogspawn, and many different species of mushrooms. Question is, why does everything but the toadstool and the frogspawn multiply?

The toadstool wont, it will need to be fragged. The frowgpawn will split or grow new heads but they take longer than zoos or mushrooms.

Toadstools grow, and grow enormous. Your frog may not be getting enough light, for one, and for another, it may want to be upwind of the softies, or in an area of mild turbulence. If it still won't grow, run carbon, to take the chemicals the softies produce out of the water. And feed cyclopeeze. Everybody likes it.

I just asked because it has been a year. about 4 months of that was good to bad to worse and slowly coming back to the good. After a year I should have alot more growth. I can frag maybe twice a year on most of my zoo colonies. I was getting real good till that anemone walked to its death.

I think my Tang is a pu@%y. Swims out in open water for a few minutes and then hides for hours. Then back to swimming and then back to hiding. However he learned real fast where the clowns have their home.

whats your water and lighting like? Maybe they're not growing fast for a reason. I've noticed that with my corals (mostly softies) that when there are nitrates present, they dont die, but they do stop growing as fast as they normally do. So maybe if your water is less than perfect, that would be why they dont grow so fast.
