150g

I'm currently in the process of building a 150g 48x30x24 that will have about 100lbs of LR and be stocked with mostly SPS. The sump will be a total of about 60gallons with a fuge.
Which would be the best vertex skimmer for my build? Any input greatly appreciated.

Royal Exclusiv does not make any of the Vertex skimmers anymore. We make Bubble King skimmers. Based on your planned tank & the info you have provided, if you meant Bubble King & not Vertex, I would suggest a Bubble King Double Cone 180. It's far superior in every respect to anything in the Vertex lineup IMO & the RD3 pump on the Double Cone 180 is arguably one the best skimmer pumps on the market.

I have the same dimensions as you and about as much live rock on a heavily stocked tank and I run the Double Cone 200 without a hitch! It has run smoothly on my tank for the last two years. Best investment ever! I know it's a little oversized, but it has done great on my heavy bioload.
