How to remove the bearing seat from a Stream 3

Hi guys,

I've given my stream 3 pumps a citric acid bath. When pulling them apart for a rinse I can't shake the little bearing seat out.

Are there tricks for removing it (no matter how hard I shake it won't dislodge)

When running the pump it working perfect in the citric acid however it seems to stop occasionally in the tank and makes a squealing sound "trying to start"

Any ideas?

PXL_20211030_092023817.jpgThis is what the bearing disc looks like seated. Is it correct?

You have everything out that would normally be removed, the bearing sits down in there and while you can remove the tensioner from beneath, it is best not to do so-

Usually such an issue will be a worn out bearing or bearing tension is out of adjustment which tends to result from replacing an impeller.

In the photo there is no bearing, only the bearing frame and tensioner.

That explains everything - Thanks

I have since found the washer and it's working perfectly.
