Anyone use these types of plastic barrels?

For saltwater mixing and storage? Saltwater safe?

It advertises "FDA compliant resins," which would suggest food safe, but to avoid doubt (will the resin wear off with long-term use with salt water? Is it actually a food-safe container?) I'd go with a Rubbermaid stock tank, if your application is appropriate.

Have you checked locally for used or reconditioned food grade barrels?

They Usually advertise them on craigs or Facebook. Pickle, olive barrels etc. are usually pretty cheap if you wash them out yourself. I got two 55g olive barrels that I use for every water change.

Those are fine they are the same ones used to ship and store soy sauce. You can get them for free at many Chinese restaurants.
