Do you have a hard time getting fish to eat Chloroquine Phosphate medicated fish food
It seems that some folks have had a hard time getting fish to eat Chloroquine Phosphate (CP) laden fish food. There is a product and technique that works for myself so let’s compare notes.
I find it simple to feed NLS Ick schield fish pellets. I don’t sell their product, I’m a consumer. I have used it for profilactic purposes without issue for several months now. Do any of you find it to be a challenge to feed CP medicated fish food?

Yes it has a metallic taste so you have to mask it somehow. I used garlic extreme plus vitamins and they ate some. Thanks

I haven’t needed to add garlic but it sounds like a very good idea.
I find that fish eat NLS pellets quickly and without hesitation as long as the pellets are found by the fish soon after the pellets start to sink. If a few pellets fall behind a rock and aren’t eaten within 5-10 minutes, then there are problems. That is, the fish will spit out the food as they don’t like the taste. My guess is that as the food softens, the taste of the medication becomes more prevalent.
