The two (apparently chromis?) polyps in the middle came in the bottom of a bag of other stuff a couple weeks ago. Can't wait to get them growing. They are a crazy mint/seafoam green.[IMG][/IMG]

seapug, I don't think I have ever seen colors like that on Zoa's, absolutely beautiful. Any secrets you can share? What type of lighting do you have?

Thanks

Just picked these up the other day from the LFS. Very cool irridescence. I think they're called "kaleidoscope"

Pics turned out OK, considering the use of my "poor man's macro lens" (aka magnifying glass)

Thanks, Spleify. No real secrets. Most are random finds, not high dollar "LE's." I don't do much other than keep Phosphate low with a PhosBan reactor and change water once/week-- no special feeding or supplements apart from a nightly Kalk drip (mixed tank). Lighting is 2 X 150W MH (14K Phoenix and 12K Reeflux) with 130W PC actinics. Tank is 90 gallons and the Zoas are at the bottom.

Kudos to everyone else. I've seen plenty of others here I'd love to have. Keep 'em coming.

Those do appear to have the iridescence of a Kaleidoscope. After they are acclimated, move them up towards the light. I have found that the high light really makes their colors come to life.

I just picked these up at MAX...

Thanks seapug, good to know about the Phosban reactor, I ordered one last week should be here soon.
What percent of water do you change weekly?

So where are you at, at 4980ft? I'm at 5280ft
