Yet another AC Jr Question

Ok, I tried hooking up my ac jr via serial cable to my computer. It's com1 on my computer. I selected Tank Database, entered Serial Number of my AC Jr, and selected com1. I go to Status - Reef Tank and I get the Aquacontroller not responding error. I click on Feed anyway....My pumps shut down and the countdown counter comes up. I tried to Set Clock it pulled the aquacontroller time, but when i hit update it didn't update the controller. I tried to open the progam editor and it just sat there forever. Any idea's here? It's like it's kinda connected.....

Sounds like a the transmit signal from the AquaController is not making it to your PC or maybe it is just a flaky connection. Check the cable to make sure there is no corrosion or bent pins.
Also might want to try a different com port if you have an extra one on your PC.
