AC3 Email Setup Questions

Hi all - I successfully configured my email settings this afternoon and now, the AC3 is emailing me every top of the hour. Can I turn this off by setting "Email: OFF" in the Email setup menu?

Also, what does the ALARM menu in the Email setup menu do? The options for that setting cycle through all my currently defined timers, but I don't know what it does.

Finally - where is the explanation for all this stuff documented? It's not in the manual, and I haven't found any additional documentation on Neptune Systems' website.

If you are getting emails every hour then either your alarm timer is on or the incorrect timer is configured for alarm. If the alarm timer is not on check the setting for 'email timer' and be sure it is set to the name of your alarm timer.

Thanks, Ken. So in order to make sure my alarm timer is off, do I do this at the beginning of my program?

if time > 00:00 then ALM OFF

I'll also check that "email timer" setting.

Yes, you want to initialize the ALM to off and then turn it on as appropriate. As long as the alarm timer is on the AC will send email once every "Email Resend Interval" (which default to 60 minutes).
