View Full Version : Can't get my Apex Jr. Online

So I've been trying to access my Apex Jr. all morning, but it is just not showing up in my network. When I access my router, I can see my printer, both computers, PS3, and Roku...but no Apex. I've unplugged the known working connection from the Roku, plugged it into the Apex, restarted everything, and still nothing. I use the utility on the CD to discover it, nothing. I really don't know what else to try. Any ideas?

There two tiny LEDs on the Apex network jack, one green and one amber. Are they lit when it's connected to the router?
What color is the Apex status LED?

Status is green, left jack light is green and right one is amber. Everything looks normal, but it's not showing up in the router screen or using the tool on the CD. :(

Status is green, left jack light is green and right one is amber. That's good. Have you tried a different network cable? Is there a green link light lit on the router port?

Are you hard wired to your PC? If so try opening up your PC ip address and enter in 192.168.1.50 could be an IP issue... I had the same problem before

I did not notice any lighting on the ports in the rear of my router. The computer is wireless. I will try out that IP that you gave me. Wouldn't the scan tool find it no matter what the IP was?

Try hardwiring the computer to the network as well as the Apex.

Paul from Neptune entered a shared screen with me and was able to get me up and running. I'm not a computer guy, but I think he assigned a specific IP to the Apex and then told the router where to find it. I think. Whatever...I'm up and running.
I've never had such amazing customer service in my life. Fantastic. Customer for life.
