question with EB_8

Hey guys, ive read the guide and everything, and i cant find anywhere where it states that if the power on the eb8 goes out, then it will send me a email.
What im stating here is that they're still power thats coming from my apex jr. which is powering up my eb8. and i just want to make sure it cant be done.

this is what i tried, in email alrm i typed:
If Power EB_8 off 001 then on

But when i unplug the eb8. there still a green LED on the module. and i wont get a email.

should i plug the eb8 into one of the sockets on the base instead of one of the wall outlet?

from what i understand, it will only send me a email of both apex and eb8 is off and vise versa

another question, do you guys have your EB_8 plugged into the wall socket ? or on your apex ?

When the EB is unplugged from AC power, the electronics in the EB still get power from your Jr via AquaBus - that's why the EB status light stays lit green. The outlets won't have power though.

Do NOT plug the EB8 into an AC outlet on the Jr - keep it plugged onto a regular wall outlet.
