I have issues with loosing access to my apex every so often. One day I can access with a web interface the next I can not.

Does anyone have a fix for this or an answer to why it happens, is there something i can avoid doing or do more often?

What do you do to regain access? Reboot the Apex? Reboot a wireless adapter?

How are you accessing it... by http://192.168.15.50 (using the IP address) or by http://apex?

Is DHCP enabled or disabled in the Apex network settings?

DHCP is disabled, I try to access it by both apex/ first then I try IP address. I find that it randomly comes in and out, nothing I do that I am aware of.

So when it doesn't work, you don't do anything but try again later, and it works?

Asking a few questions undoubtedly Russ will ask dependig on your response to his question.

Does anything else on your network have similar random problems, or random slow internet access? Does your Apex tie directly into your ISP router, or is there a wireless access point between, or another switch?

When you cannot access via a webpage, can you ping the device via command prompt? (assuming you are using windows)

I can ping no problem do not loose any packets or whatever. I am hardwired to my router no switches. I have no problems with any other device beside my apex, it has not been working all day. Thanks for the help

Try to telnet to the Apex at a time when you cannot access the Apex using a web browser.

first off i still cannot connect to my controller, so i think it is a little worse then i thought. I tried to access apex with the apex/ and the ip address without any luck. then i enabled telnet commands on my 7 machine and logged onto the controller that way. So i can communicate with it but my web interface is jacked. any ideas?

Reboot. Load the latest firmware and web pages if you can. If not, contact Neptune.
