What problem are you having exactly?

You need to tell us more... how is the Apex connected to your network? Directly via network cable to the router? Using a wireless adapter? How is your computer connected?

Which model Apex, and do you have a display?

What are you entering in the web browser's address bar? Do you just get a "page not found" type of error?

I am using the Netgear Universal Adapter, and it wont see my Auquabus to connect. I called Neptune Tech (Paul) he was very helpful, got me up and running. I am able to connect to appex screen to make changes and adjustments while Ether is connented to roter. The problem is I cannot seem to get the adapter to connect for wireless comunication. The adapter does not connect. I am using Parelles on my Imac plus I have a Time Capule and Airport extrem on my home network setup. I think b/c my roter is Ether connected to my time capule that it may be puting out a diferrent ip?...I dont know. Can anyone help? has anyone had any luck with this type of adapter? Thanks:(

If I understand correctly, the problem is that the Netgear (WNCE2001 I presume) is not able to connect to your wireless network.

Try doing a manual setup of the Netgear. Enter the wireless network name, security mode, and security passphrase manually.

Many of use here use the Netgear WNCE2001 with good results.

Thanks RussM, I was able to connect. The problem was I was connected to my time capule home network not my roter, once I rebooted adapter I connected to their setup web page and bingo connected. Now I an trying to designate Eb8 plugs , can't seem to figure out how to change label on outlet , plus coding is a challenge for me. I do have the PDF Unofficial Manule, but still having issues...any help? Any body?...thanks!!

Go to 'advanced' mode. You can change outlet names there.

And get yourself a spell checker. :)

... I was connected to my time capule home network not my roter... An AirPort Time Capsule *IS* a router. So you actually have two wireless routers.

I think?...my time capsule is ethernet connected to my DSL (Verizon) router. Maybe I didn't need the Univ. Netgear Adapter?? to go wireless in the house, but to access from outside my home network I'm guessing I needed it. Anyway, it is all connected now.

***On another note, sorta....I have a heater, skimmer, and powerheads that I want to be "On" all the time save feeding and water chages. I know this is a simple question, but how to I program the Apex to do that (sorry I'm a newbie. I have no programming experience :o. Thanks For your help. I almost got it up and running...down the home track...:reading:

Set ON
If FeedA 000 Then OFF

Modify for your various Feed cycles ABCD and add a delay instead of 000 (like for your skimmer). The User Guide has a lot more information on these commands. You may want to consider using the Apex to control your heater vs. its internal t-stat.

Aquamainc, how does one allow the Apex to control the heater. Are you referring to adjusting programming for regional temperatures (RT+)?

Thanks.

how does one allow the Apex to control the heater.

Instead of leaving the heater on all the time and relying on its internal t-stat to control the temp, set the heater's t-stat to a couple of degrees higher than you want. Then use your temp probe and the 'If Temp' statement to turn the heater's outlet ON/OFF.
