As title says - I just purchased the Apex JR thinking I'd be able to control my lights on a schedule and now I'm pretty sad to find out that I don't think I'll be able to without paying another 150 for the VDM... Is there a way around this?

No, you will need the VDM to control your 360N

If you want full control over spectrum and intensity, including changing both throughout the lighting period, yes you do need a VDM.

Until you get the VDM (if you do) you can still control on/off by plugging the Kessil power supply into an Apex Jr outlet and set spectrum and intensity using the knobs on the A360.

If you do get a VDM, you'll also need the proper cable - Kessil part number KA360C1
