Adding Energybar or DC?

I want to either add a Energy Bar 4 a Energy Bar 8 or DC 4 to my Apex. My ? is does this get connected to the aquabus and need to plug into wall? I hope not a stupid ?

Also difference between the Direct Connect and Energy Bar?

Yes when you purchase the EB4 or EB8 you will need to plug in the Energy Bar into a standard household outlet and then connect the AquaBus cable to the New Energy Bar and to an available AquaBus port on the Apex Base unit or modules.

The dc 8 plugs into the wall but needs a 4 wire phone cord plugged into the control port best option is an eb4 or eb8
