The color seem fine but the grow a little strange. Is it Tyree tricolor?

Look more like a tricolor valida then stag.

It looks like Marshall Island Tricolor.....I used to have one just like that, althought the growth pattern is very odd. Definitely not an ORA Delicate......The ORA Delicate has very, very thin branches. I mean very thin as a frag.

Looks like blistering to me. Do a search for blistering acros. I've had two valida frags in which this happened to.

Here it is when I got it.

Hmmm. That's odd that yours happens to be a tri color as well. I wonder if there is any correlation.

I agree with Steve on the blistering. check your alk, some people has blistering problem with high alk.

I've never heard anything about blistering?? Does the coral continue to grow without tips?

I do have problem with high Alk (Alk 12-14 dKh, Ca 450 ppm, Mg 1200 ppm)

Can it be a problem?
