foam rock wall
I saw a couple of tanks with a rock wall and it got me interested in building one.
I noticed some of them were made using Bondo which is very weird since its harmfull. Is there anything else besides that? thanks |

black beckett's pond foam with or without epoxy painted over it is the way to go. just use your imagination, build a frame out of egg crate, and cover it in the black foam you can get at HD or Lowes. too easy and there are numerous threads that are using the same method in the DIY section

The foam and epoxy are harmful as well, but once cured it's surprisingly harmless (unles you deside to eat it I'm sure). I built one for my 30gal and love the results. It looks great and gives me a few ideas for a zoa garden as well. Time will tell though...
