first coral question ?
When i have the dawn/dusk lights on my T5's this coral is out stretched and up like this.
![]() ![]() but when i turn on all the lights after an hour or two it shrinks up like this ![]() ![]() does that mean it's getting enough light and doesn't need to stretch out for it, or is something wrong ? It's under 6X39w NEP with formed individual reflectors about 16" under the surface , light is setting directly on tank. thanks for any advice . Ken |

Try moving it lower in the tank. Wherever you got it from may not have had it under as strong of light. At night it's extending but during full light it's not. See how it does like that and if it extends better, slowly start moving up the tank to where you want it. This way it can acclimate to the lighting.

Sounds like a light acclimation issue to me.
