Pseudocorynactis/ball anenome experience

Either I have always had these for the last several years and they are maturing, more visible, or they hitchhiked on a snails & crabs ....I have read many posts from the archives about these hitchikers...and wondering what the outcome has been on members' tanks from prior years(if members are still lurking around and in the hobby...)were they a threat? Did you get rid of them, keep them, loose critters etc?How big did they get ?
I have these and they are reproducing and still under the size of a dime.
I was hoping from feedback on these....I will try to take my rock out and scrape but is this a losing battle?....I have 40lbs of LR and coral in 2 tanks...now the 10 gallon has one.
Most say they will eat fish, harm inverts....some say let them be , they won't grow big enough.....
Thanks for any help.

They are slow to reproduce, quite harmless, and hard to photograph

Thankyou! Your emerald looks great and I see has not been hindered by the corynactis...thankyou, I will relax abit about these guests in my tanks. I have a small yellow clown goby and he perches near one. The tank is 6 years old and I never notice them until the last 6 months or so. Thanks for your reply!

I'm glad I came accross this as I too have seen more and more of these lately.

I wonder if we could have a thread inviting members who have hadl these for years in their tanks so we can see what if any negative outcome comes from their growth....would clowns be immune to their sting?

My firefish has been missing for 2 days now- had him since March.....he ate well, always hid at night right under the rocks in his den ....amongst the corynactis...how big do these need to get to be a threat ?
No signs of jumping out either as I have a lid...

Not a threat. I've had them in my systems for 4 years and never seen them bigger than about 1/4".

The largest one has had blue legs climb over without problems.....its the reason I have kept fish out until my kids came home with the firefish for my birthday....but now I wonder why he has disappeared .....
Thanks for the reply.
