You're a tad farther than I thought, I'm conditioned to see "SW Michigan" as the Berrien Springs area - I was thinking the Indiana Dunes, aka Dunes National Park by Michigan City. So, close but not really

I love Peggy's pics, both for various reasons, but I have a major weakness for images that I tend to fall in to. For that, I'm captivated by Doug's little lady there. I find I wished I knew what she was looking so intently at.

This is always been a favorite of mine. Taken on Cape Cod National Seashore, about 2005 I think. It fairly wells sums up my idea of a child's first trip to the sea.
