Mantis hide alot?
I would like to set up a small tank for a mantis, but was wondering if they hide alot? I had one in my 10g nano before, and never saw it(till I got it out).
Also, anyone got pics they could post of their mantis? Looking for some ideas on different colorations. Thanks stapler |

They're definitely reclusive and hide most of the time. But if you are nice to your mantis and train it well, it will be accustomed to your presence.
• I tap the glass 3 times before each meal. Now she comes out and sits atop the rock when its feeding time. • Trained to eat variety: flakes, frozen shrimp, live crustaceans and snails • Does'nt flee when I hover over the tank Good enough for me!
