How to move a large tank
I will be getting a 96 x 30 x30 glass tank soon and I need to know how everyone is moving their tanks from the builders to the stand.
Also, I need to know how to lift the tank onto a 41" stand. Any Pics? |

I moved my 72X24X30 tank with a fridge dolly. Have 4 guys lift it form the truck to the dolly, moved it into the house and then the 4 of us lifted the tank to the 30" tand.
If you have to move it along an area that doesn't accept the dolly, use a large piece of carpet that you can use to slide the tak along it's way. much easier on all involved it you can do hat. Cheers!! Pat |

Get as many helpers as you can! Beer and pizza usually do the trick!

I just moved my 540 gallon today I used 4 2inch pvc pipes to roll it to the front door then 4 of us picked it up the stairs then rolled it into the office on the pipes. real easy move for the most part.check out my 540 fowlr thread for pics.
