I'd like to know myself. My wife has a nice clump that grew from a LR. It looks nice when it grows out.

I got a response from wetwebmedia, the guy said he was no algae expert (opposite of what I had hoped), but he'd go with G. Textorii.

So...

That's 1 for Gracilaria....

There's no need to bump threads in this forum. We dont get nearly the volume/traffic that the other forums do. I am not sure what you have there. There are literally a hundred different algae species that it could potentially be. If you can get a close shot of one or two individual "leafs" it might be easier to narrow down the search, but it would still be up in the air. Reds are just really hard. Fauchea isnt a bad guess though.
