Great start!

What are the tank specs? It looks like a 48x24x24. Throw up some pics of it without the paper cover.

Also, no foam under the tank?

Chad: They do as a precaution in case stand isnt so level and flat or if you have a flat bottom glass tank you have to use foam.

I used foam on mine since it has a flat bottom. I also put foam under the acrylic sump, but my stand is not nearly as smooth as yours--and a bit off-level too.

Mine too is in-wall in the basement family room I made. 60x24x24.

Looks nice, I wish I had done an in wall. Do you thin kthe fish hanging on the wall will make your reef inhabitants nervous?

My plan is for sand bottom reef and either ASM G4+ or MRC 3 protien skimmer. Dart closed loop and 2 Luminarc reflectors with XM 250watt 10k bulbs on ice cap ballast with ice cap 660 and 4 actinics. I also have 2 - 20amp circuits wired to the room with the 2- 4ways on the top for the lights and the 2 -4ways on the bottom for everthy thing else.

Well I'm going to be hanging drywall this weekend. Hanging drywall is no problem but I'm not really looking forward to tapeing and sanding it. Once I get that done I have more unfun stuff like priming and painting everything including the stand and floor.

Took some pics of my 20 amp GFCI's and standard 20 amp outlets. Each 4way outlet will have one GFCI and one standard outlet but they will be wired so both outlets in each 4way trip at the same time. (man those GFCI's are expensive)

My old Specterpure RO/DI and 55gal reservoir. The RO is going in the laundry room next door above the sink and I plan to pipe a 1/4 line to this reservoir in here next to sump. The line will go 20ft along the ceiling so I'm not sure if its going to work. If any one knows please let me know.

My one Luminarc.....getting another soon...its used...needs polishing.

I have a icecap 660 and all the wiring and bulbs but it looks like a tight fit with the 2 Luminarcs. Was planing on putting 2 of the bulbs in the very front and 2 in the very back..maybe at an angle towards the middle of the tank. As long as it doesn't block the luminarc to bad.

Very impressive!

just an FYI, some companies will void a warrenty if you use foam under their aquariums! However, this only applies if you use their stand, if you don't the warrenty is void anyways

Tank room looking good. Being in tampa has its reward, such as mangroves, hermits and snails. macroalgea. The bad thing is that the LFS stores are at a minimum. I just got back from chicago and the stores there were awsome compared to the stored down here
