Stand finished - moving on to plumbing
I finally finished my stand. I've got a 65g reef ready tank, its got holes for a 3/4" and 1" bulkhead. I want to run full siphon on 1, and use the other as a backup. From a overflow standpoint, I feel like it is safer to use the 1" as the emergency, but I'm worried the 3/4 won't produce enough flow

If forced at gunpoint to use a herbie system like that
![]() I'd run the 1" as the primary and 3/4" as the emergency..

Thanks - that's what I think I'll do. I bought it used, looks like it came from the factory like this, since the bottom is tempered and there are holes in it

Can you not drill the 3/4 and make it 1in ? Then your good to go with Herbie system. Return over the back.

Nah the bottom is tempered. Its one that was built in the factory with an overflow, tempered the glass after drilling.
