WTB PAR38 LED Spotlights

I am running a couple of EvilC/Nanotuners PAR38 spots (12K) and need to fill in a dead spot with one more.

Anyone have an extra PAR38 spot to sell? 12K or 20K, Nanotuners or EcoExotic is fine. I am also flexible between 40 and 60 degree lenses.

This is a PAR 38 Led for screw in standard incandescent sockets. It has only been used than 1/10 of it's predicted lifespan. It description can be found on the webpage (about 4/5's of the way down the page):

Dan,

I have an Elos70 -- 55 gallon. I am currently running 1 AI Sol Blue unit to light the center of the tank. I just replaced my 250w XM 20K MH with it. I find that I only need to run the AI unit about 75% to get the same amount of growth and color as a 250w MH. One AI is just doesn't cover the edges of the tank as well as the MH.

Since I keep acros on the bottom edges of the tank, I decided to light the edges right now with 2 Nanotuners PAR38 12K and 2 Sunbright PAR38 actinics. I needed one more to balance the blue of one of the actinics. I temporarily added a warm white PAR30 LED I picked up at Lowes for general lighting. It's warm so I am looking to replace that with a 12K or 14K.

For a 10g, I think 2 PAR38s would give you better coverage. The two I use on the left side of my tank cover the footprint of a standard 10g (20"x10"). They have 40degree lenses and are mounted 12" from the water. But since I have a little more depth with the 55g (19"), the PAR38s should probably be mounted a little higher...maybe 18"+.

I am thinking of trying out a PAR38 with 7 LEDs from Rapid LED. I read in the nano-focused board that it's color is around 14K. I also understand Rapid LED is located in the East Bay -- Oakland.

Patrick

p.s.: I noticed on another thread that you have another hobby... I share the same hobby also, but my wife prefers my reefing hobby instead

I found one locally -- Aquarium Concepts had a 15w 10K Sunbrite on "sale".

Here's my updated set up...

L to R - EvilC 12K, Sunbrite Actinic, EvilC 12K, Sunbrite Actinic, Sunbrite 10K
AI Sol Blue behind.
