What is up with my Chalice???
This thing is acting weird. It is showing a crazy amount of white little tentacles. At least it looks like tentacles. I've had it for about two weeks and this is the first time anything has happened with this thing. Is it dying or stressed or something? The only thing that happened was that it fell off its rock and laid face down for a few minutes. Other than that, ***? any Ideas?
I spot feed it reef snow every three days or so too btw. Hope the pic shows clearly what I'm talking about. Water conditions are fine: Temp: 78-80 Salt: 1.025 Calcium: 500-520 Ph: 8.2-8.4 Nitrate: 0-5 Phosphate: 0-0.25 Magnesium: NO TEST KIT (Add weekly) Alk: 8-9 Lighting: 2 250w MH at 20K. run 8hrs a day. Strong current. Use RODI water for auto Topoff and changes. |

Is the pic taken at night time? To me it looks like it's trying to catch some food from the water column.
