Frogspawn stung Duncan!

Hey everyone quick question...I put a single head frogspawn drag in my tank about 3 weeks ago and within a few hours realized it was too close to my Duncan...frogspawn had sweeper out and wrapped around Duncan. I moved the Duncan immediately and 2 days ago noticed the Duncan lost all tissue from where the sweeper was around it down. I spot feed the Duncan every few days. Will the Duncan tissue come back after a bad stinging like that?

Thanks in advance

I have my Duncans 30-40 heads rift next toy purple tipped frogspawn. I have no stinging going on. I am not saying it didn't or couldn't happen. After 8 months mine are still going strong

Yeah the frogspawn hasn't put them out that I've seen since that day but when it happened I actually saw the frogspawn with its sweeper wrapped around the stock of the Duncan and it went around it 2 full times
