There's only two builders in our little section. Our home is a Trendmaker and the other builder is Perry. Without being able to see the whole house in those pics, i think the one you are pointing out is a Perry. Not positive though.
IIRC our house was a Perry. It is the one with the stuff on the driveway between the garage door. Ours had the set back dining room then set back laundry across the front. It looks like that house hast that too, but I am only seeing a little.

No joke. Things I have bought because of Dennis:

(1) Lifereef skimmer and sump
(2) Cebu Sun MH/T5 lamp
...
now Sea Swirl. I was considering one a few months back, I'm sure I'll buy one by the end of the week now. =)

But seriously, this thread is such an inspiration. Thanks for taking the time to do this Dennis!

Well, never thought I'd see this... one of my several rock anemone's decided to make a meal out of the Mystery Wrasse that I've had for exactly 2.5 years.

This is the underside of his head.
That was one hungry nem.

That's an expensive meal, for a rock anemone that is.

Thanks

My pic is labeled as such in the top right corner, and yours looks similar.

always enjoy your pics. I might have to learn the settings on my wife DSLR as she never seems willing to take pics of my tank and corals.

You should shoot a basic video on what all you do in lightroom and such to process the pictures for noobs like myself.

Thanks!

Here's a few new random pics.
If anyone can I.D. the last one, let me know!
It's something I had in the old setup but with the mini crash last year and the stress of the rebuild, some coral didn't fare so well and have been coloring back up over the past few months.
This is one of them and I'm at a loss as to what it is/was.

NEWS FLASH!

I decided to try out this whole blogging fad.
http://www.everydayreef.com

I'm going to give it a go for awhile and see what happens.
Just started so the look will probably change but this should give you a taste of what's to come. It won't be a rehash of everything you see here. But some of the important bits from here and also some unique stuff. The goal is for it to become a more concise collection of helpful tips for both reefing and reef photography. A lot of that gets lost here with all the back and forth banter and minor things posted that now has us up to 127 pages and over 3,000 posts. LOL!

So check it out!

Couldn't agree more. Great work, Dennis!

Honestly, I know it's probably not, but the last coral looks like the blue tip "tenuis" I had for years. I threw it away 'cuz it grew too fast and now I regret that decision. Is yours a fast grower?

hmmm... not sure. And until recently it's been in recovery in my frag tank.
It started coloring up nicely so I finally moved it to the display.
I think it may be ORA Borealis.

Hope ya'll enjoyed your Mother's Day!

I got a few frags from Unique Corals this past week. Was a busy weekend so I still need to take some pics.

Meanwhile, there is a new post on my blog.
My thoughts on testing my reef and trying not to chase numbers.

Been meaning to do a little video tour of the new fish room, hopefully memorial day weekend.
Will try to cover everything but if there is something specific you want to make sure I go into detail about, let me know.

Are you that much happier w the MH hybrid fixture after ditching the Radion Pros? Reef looks great!

I just wanted to go back to a much brighter tank and I wanted a lot more light spread/coverage. So nothing against the Radions, I just would have needed a lot more fixtures and I still don't think I would have been able to achieve the brightness I was after. So it was easier and cheaper to just go back to MH/T5 which I knew I liked and I knew had no problem growing and coloring up SPS. No more guessing which settings to use, either. The switch made a very positive difference.

If you want to go with an LED unit like Radions or Hydras, I would suggest getting one unit for every 12-16"... not 24".
