ATI Powermodule or NanoBox Retro Hybrid
Having trouble deciding between the ATI Powermodule and the NanoBox Retro Hybrid. I guess the advantages to each is the ATI is a solid company with backing, the NAnoBox is hand made, had way more LED fixtures in it and apparently has better control through bluefish. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

I struggled through this same question myself... I chose the ATI pwoermodule and here was my thought process...
#1 Resale value: From my own experience, there is some level of turnover of equipment over time as you either upgrade, downgrade or simply try a newer piece of technology as a result of curiosity. That said, it is always nice to get a decent amount of $ from your used equipment. That said, it was clear that there was more demand for used ATI products compared to the Nano-Boxes. Simple economics... more demand = higher price (simplified obviously ![]() #2 User experience: I personally am not the kind of person to buy something brand new with little user review/support. The more users there are of a single product, the more assistance you can get in utilizing said product. I am taking a wild guess here but I thought there were more ATI users than Nano-Box. With so many elements that can affect the success of reefing, I didn't want to deal with yet another component of uncertainty. ATI is a tried and true fixture. #3 Plug: I run a pretty small reefing system that doesn't have much space for lots of power strips. So it was imperative for me to find a fixture that had the fewest number of plugs. I may be comparing an older model of the Nano-Box fixtures but ATI's single plug was a no brainer for me. Opens up that many more outlets that I can now use to control other pieces of equipment.

At ati I would be careful! Bad service, no communication, bad technology in a chic packaging!
Anyway here in germany!
