Nano reef 30 gallon filtration help!!
Hey all...I'm running a 30 gallon nano reef...currently I am running the Coralife 65 protein skimmer and looking to add additional filtration...I currently have 1 clownfish, 2 small gobies, and a blenny (don't plan on adding any other fish) I currently have a mix of soft and LPS corals that appear to be doing great...what would the most beneficial as far as filtration is concerned?? (Current situation doesn't allow for a sump)... Would I be better off running with a HOB refugium or a HOB biomechanical filter or nothing at all?? I am currently doing weekly 5 gallon water changes. Thanks for the Help!

I run Marineland filters with refillable cartridges on my nano tanks - just make sure the filter is rated for at least twice the capacity of the tank. Of course also use a skimmer and, have plenty of live rock. Works great and, no sump needed.
