Hi everybody...

Apologies for not replying earlier. I'll give a run down on what's been happening but the most important thing is the is the tank is going well. The light unit is performing really well and I will have time now to update the latest happenings over the next few days.

Those of you that have asked questions... I'll respond within the next day as I'm presently catching up on PM's.

Thanks for following along!!

Thank you Gooch. I unfortunately don’t have the plans as the builder of the stand does. Here are some pics of the stand, some of which I haven't shown before. I'll show them in the next post.

I believe I replied to your PM but to be sure I’ll answer again.

I have been using the LED presets but as I today have started to adjust them and create my own colours. I was using a variety at different time of the day (Blue+, Purple+, Coral + and Blue Special.

Thank you lanshark. I will provide a more accurate update as I need to recheck but from memory ALK was 95ml per day and Ca 110ml. This will need to be increased. It’s amazing how much the corals consume compared to when they were smaller.

I use the full Zeovit system comprising of Bak, Start3, Food7, Sponge Power, Spur2, B-Balance, K-Balance and Biomate. I haven’t changed the bulbs as they are still new. The previous ATI PM saw the bulbs run for up to 15months at a time.

Really? Wow... I just took the picture on the right and you can see the comparison to what a good day looks like. The smog drifts down from mainland China assisted by the weather systems.

The picture also shows the view the fish and coral have

People in the condos below you have the choice to pay 1,000,000 for the ocean view or 10,000,000 for "Reef in the Sky" view. And I heard there's a twenty five year wait list to get on the "Tank" side.

agree when i first saw the video on youtube i was thinking about buying a 36inch shallow tank... Then i read the thread and realised it was 2 foot bigger! couldn't believe it , so simple so clean, and the corals are so huge. I would love to see what Andrew could do with a 9 foot long tank... ;D *hint*

Corals have grown big! nice colors. I noticed you've reduced the sand in the tank, any particular reason ?

Thanks, Aj
