Damn braw, you should start your own micro skimmery. Bottle that stuff and get it on the shelves pronto! Imagine thowin' back a few cold ones on a hot summer day, maybe while fishing... it don't get no better.

Man you guys get so technical. My BK kicks butt with the smelliest blackest driest nog ever. I am totally nuts and doing everything wrong 30 fish in a 90! Little ones but 30!!! Heavy enough bioload? Some would say animal cruelty but this BK makes me seem like a smart guy!

Hahn - yes, I do love my fish. My wife loves fish, too. She could care less about coral. I used to feed my tangs 4 frozen cubes each of Formula One and Spirulina, Spectrum pellets, Mysis, and algae. The pics of the SM look good, eh?

Kennettson - THANKS for the updated pics!! All I can say is WOW WOW WOW!!!

That's just how I like to skim. I'm now a believer in the new SM. It certainly makes my decision on a skimmer really difficult now. Seems I can't go wrong with any of my choices. How many days worth of Nog are in that pic? A few posts back, you mentioned you would try to run your skimmer a bit wetter. Is that what the pic is showing? Or did you leave your settings as they originally were?

the Cone design ( 40-50% of the Column, not 100 % Cone ) is very efficient, ore this is not only the Point, what make a good Skimmerdesgin. Many more Points make a good Skimmer-Performance. I can not posted in Public Forums, what is important for a good skimmerperformance..., You now, the competition reads here also....
The question, what Line is better, the Deluxe or The Supermarines, is hard to answer. The rating is near the same. The Deluxe-modells have more adjustments.... for a beginner the SM is the simpler skimmer, the Deluxe is more for the Profi-Reefers......
So i hope, i answer your question yet..

Haven't decided but I have narrowed it down to the BK 300 Deluxe, BK 250 SM, or the ATB Large. I know people who own BK's and I know people who have ordered ATB's and will have them soon. I will discuss with them as to what would be my best option and decide from there. Either way I will have to have to get a new sump. All three have similar air #s and similar tank size ratings since the US version of the ATB's are 20% larger than the European versions. I am very happy with my current skimmer but I would like to increase energy efficeincy.
