Torch slowly died, frogspawn and hammer fine....why

Any help would be much appreciated......

I have a mixed Lps and Sps tank, in one area, I have all of the above mentioned in the subject line. They were all fine, but without warning, first opne head of my torch died, then the other head.

My frogspawn and hammer, both nearby are fine

any ideas why?

i am no expert but I had the same problem. I moved the tourch and it is doing great now. No reason, i think it just did not like its place in the tank.
good luck

I had the same problem with my torch. I still can't figure out why it died. My other corals are doing perfectly. Is it advisable to keep the dead coral and hope that it grows back or just toss it?
