2.5 Nano with LED supplement

Inspired by a 5.5 project I saw on RC (never saw a nano), I set up a 2.5 bow that a girl I am dating gave me. It was set up the beginning of April and I just added its one and only fish, a small false perc. Right now the only other occupants are 2 blue leg hermits and a set of shrooms.

.

My plan had been to run some cheato in the hang on filter, but I was not sure how to provide the light. Today while at the Dollar Tree I saw LED battery powered lights. I had a multivolt power adapter laying around so I decided to give it a go.

The power source is 300ma. Not sure if that will be too much. I wired it parallel. I put one set over the filter (above a small amount of cheato) and the other set at the dark end of the tank. My Compact flo. bulb sits more to one end.

So Whatcha think!?

looks good but you can't keep a clown fish in that small of tank, they need at least a 30g no matter how small they are.
