10g Build need some input!
I'm cycling my 10g tank and im looking for a light. I have 2 differnt fixtures in mind. I'm planning on having mushrooms and zoas but mostly pulsing xenia.

Personally, I'd use the current one. Either would work though. I say pick the one YOU like better.

I would look at a current usa 24" 2-bulb fixture. I have heard the 18" bulbs are hard to come bye still, and that 10K daylight will be very yellow. Brand-wise, I would definitely use the current over the other tho.

I used a 40 watt pc retro for my 10 gallon... It was a 20 inch fixture, I took it apart because the the fixture wouldn't fit under the canopy..

i have a coral life 24 in 2x65w power compact light fixture, if i just put 1 65 50/50 bulb in it would that be good idea?

go with the current it's the best i use it on both my 10 gallons also you could get it for $54 shipped at LNT

i would if you had the light free lol anything to save money and still have good lighting would still be 6+ watts a gallon with only one bulb |

what kinds of corals can i keep with the t5 lights, it is going to be 3.6 watts per gallon and the tank is a standard 10g tank

i like aquascape 2 and i have a nova extreme and love it and if your just going to keep it simple it will work great!

ok tanks soon i will go to walmart and get a tetra heater and throw it into the filter so you cant see it also im taking off the penguin bio wheel and putting on a marineland 350 so i have a lot more room for rubble rock, hopping i can get the light ordered in a week or so.
