critters getting stuck in my vortech wave maker MP20
Is there anything made for this wave maker or do I have to get creative? I found a starfish stuck in the wavemaker the other week, and one of its legs will probably come off. He was alive, and I put him back onto the floor of the tank. He seems OK. I apparently also lost a cleaner shrimp as the only thing left of him are a few antennae that are stuck in the wavemaker. I told the hubby this is a problem after the starfish episode, but NOOOOOO he didn't think this is an issue. I don't want to lose any more livestock so I am striking out on my own. I'm thinking some screening attached to the pump with some plastic zip ties unless someone else has another idea. Help

Ecotech makes a foam guard that fits over the pump; restricts flow abit but will do the job.
