can someone tell me what this is?
I picked up my rock and this was on the bottom of the rock. I wasn't sure if it was a sponge growing or if it was a type of worm or something harmful. Any information would be appreciated! Thank you.

Sponge. Any air exposure may kill it. Good things to have.

Oh boy hopefully it doesn't die, it was exposed to air for a second when I transferred it from the tank to a bag that was filled with water..fingers crossed I guess
