Skimmer-water too clean?
OK so I have read in a reef chemistry article that you can actually over skim. I am trying to figure out why some SPS do not have great polyp extension. Parameters are and have been rock solid.
PO4 about 0.01-0.03 NO3- 1-2 ppm Alk- 9.5 Ca- 430 Temp 78.5-79.0 Lighting Radions Gen 3Pro supplemented with T5s Has anyone had any issues with over skimming and removing coral nutrients from the tank? THanks Joe
