question for Ick treatment please help

Experts please help.
It is ok to use the copper treatment in the dishplay tank , only 1 fish and 20 pound liverocks. Will the liverock be dead with copper treatment. If it will , will it be back to live?

If you ever plan on getting snails, shrimp, hermits, clams, anemones, corals, etc... the copper will kill them.

It is best to set up a Quarenteen tank to isolate and treat your fish.
